Hess Village is a compact stretch of Hess Street South known for its converted houses, patios and nightlife, the strip where Hamilton’s late nights tend to end up. Pub 36 is right in the middle of it, with the front door on Hess and downtown Hamilton a few blocks in every direction.
Early in the evening, we are a neighbourhood bar and grill: food from the full menu, screens around the room and a seat at the marble. As the Village fills up, the room comes with it.
In season, settle into our dog-friendly patio on the Hess strip, or plan around the Monday open mic and late-night DJs on Fridays and Saturdays.
