Two nights a week
Thursday and Sunday, ten till two.
Karaoke is a hosted night, not an open stage. Emily runs the list, the room fills in around the bar, and nobody has to be good at this. That is broadly the point.
Put a song in
Ask Emily at the bar. She keeps the list on the night, so there is nothing to book and no form to fill in. Bring a group or turn up alone; both work.
Or just watch
Nobody is handed a microphone against their will. A seat at the marble is a perfectly good way to spend the night.
What else is on
Karaoke lands on two nights that were already busy.
Thursday is Nacho and Tequila Thursdays, which means half-price nachos before the microphone comes out. The room keeps going after karaoke finishes at 2.
Sunday is Industry Sunday: 15 percent off for hospitality workers, and karaoke runs right through to close. If you spent your weekend serving other people, this is the one.

When is karaoke at Pub 36 in Hamilton?
Karaoke runs every Thursday and every Sunday from 10 PM to 2 AM at Pub 36 on Hess, 36 Hess St S in Hamilton.
Who hosts karaoke at Pub 36?
Emily Rooney hosts both nights. She found the room singing in it, which is a reasonable qualification for running it.
Is there a cover charge for karaoke?
No. There is no cover on either night, Thursday or Sunday.
How do I get a song in?
Ask the host at the bar. Emily keeps the list on the night, so there is no form to fill in and nothing to book ahead.
Where is Pub 36 on Hess?
At the corner of Hess and George in Hamilton's Hess Village, about an eight-minute walk from TD Coliseum.
What else is on those nights?
Thursday is Nacho and Tequila Thursdays, with half-price nachos. Sunday is Industry Sunday, with 15 percent off for hospitality workers. Karaoke starts at 10 PM on top of both.
Do I have to sing?
No. Plenty of the room never picks up the microphone. The full bar and grill menu is running either way.
Can I reserve a table for karaoke night?
Yes. Standard table reservations can be made online, and walk-ins are welcome.
